I have had a most excellent reading week.  Both of these books were fabulous.  You can find my reviews HERE
and HERE

I just finished and reviewed White Dog last night.  It may be one of my Top 5 reads for a lifetime.

I've just started The Light Between the Oceans.

Persuasion is being read as readalong with Unputdownables
and I do believe this is a great way to read a classic that might otherwise not be something to hold your interest.   Persuasion has not been my favorite Austen.

Stories I Only Tell My Friends by Rob Lowe is my first audiobook ever.  I know, I am so slow to join the party.  The weather has driven me to indoor running and this has been the perfect solution to while away an hour on the treadmill.  This is a most excellent audiobook with a strong recommendation from JU JU

Unless something else completely moves me...

  4. Yay - love audiobooks too! I can;t listen to them while running on a treadmill - I need music for that - but while doing weights, it's perfect. I hope you enjoy all your reads this week :-)

  5. I listen to audiobooks constantly while running. It helps to keep me motivated. Of course it really only works for me if I keep it to lighter reading.

    1. Right, if you did one of those heavy history books there could be accidents.

  6. I only started listening to audio books about 2 years ago and now I can't live without them. I now have 2 going at all times - one in the car/house and then another that I listen to while at the gym on the treadmill.

Hope you have a great week and thanks for stopping by my blog!

  8. I am finishing up The Gospel Centered Woman by Wendy Alsup today (excellent) and that is probably it. I have Beautiful Creatures to start, probably tomorrow. Saw the movie trailer, so went and got the book. And THAT is how a Biblio-nut's mind works!

  14. Hi Belle, I like your book list. I've only ever really had one audio book thus far. As you mentioned, it's good for when on the move, jogging, walking, and so on, but since I prefer to write whilst on the move, I've never really had the chance to try another since the first time.

Out of your reading now and reading next titles, The Light Between Oceans sounds quite interesting, as well as Little Wolves, for the main reason that they are my favourite animals. Will need to check them out on Amazon or Goodreads.

    Happy reading :)

  15. I recently commented on another book about audio books. I have yet to read, well listen, to any, but it took me a while to come round to ebooks so it may happen with time...
The Light Between Oceans cover art is drawing me in... I may have to have a look into that one.
    Jane Austen is a classic!

    1. I know that I cannot count any audiobooks towards my books read numbers. I will have to have a separate count for audio. That's just me.
