THE CLASSICS CLUB

It's easy to do.  Go sign up to read the classics HERE

You only need a loose list of 50 to start that you can edit as much as you want.

You can see my list of 50 labeled "50 Classics" as a page on top of my blog.

I've committed to finishing my 50 on December 31, 2017.

First up, Persuasion by Jane Austen.

  1. Remember when we did "Classic of the Month" club at SL, a few years back?
    That was fun.

    1. I do. I really am excited to read a few more. You should consider joining this too. Also, is there any chance that you would like to do a Persuasion read-a-long? Heidi, Melody and me are joining with Unputdownables. It would be a blast to have you along too.

    2. I looked at the site. I don't know. When I look at what I have to do for school this semester, adding anything else that I "have" to do seems overwhelming.

  2. I have noticed that several blogs that I follow participate. This looks awesome! I just need to get a list together. My problem is where at adding books!

    1. If you mean that you intend to read every single classic, you could always start with 50 and then start all over again and again and again forever.

  3. I just signed up for this last night! I have a page for it too. I'm excited to try it - hopefully I can read at least 10 a year, so I don't fall behind and then spend the last year scrambling to catch up! Lol.

    1. Oh yay! I'm going to check out your list. Did you see Unputdownables blogspot. She does a read-a-long of the classics all year long. It looks fun.
