AY, YI, YI!
BookBelle is still alive. I just spent the last 2 months, in every single one of my spare moments, writing a research paper - 10 secondary sources, 1 primary source and 9 pages. My conclusion?
GOTHIC IS NO PLACE FOR A GIRL!
No wonder our little Jane Eyre was angry. I would be too. My advice? Never, never, never go up to that attic or down in the dungeon by yourself. The man you trust the most to take care of you may decide to entrap you and torture you or worse!
See you all in December! I have 11 days off of work and school over Christmas! Whoot! I haven't been off for 11 days in, like, forever! Stop over for 11 straight days of posting.

Hey darling! I've missed you! So glad to hear you're coming back.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with everything!
And you're right, Gothic is no place for a girl.
PS You're right about what you saw. I'm due in December.
Phew! I'm glad that's over. Congrats on sticking with it through the hard patches. You'll finish your degree, and you'll be so excited. :) I'm happy for you.
ReplyDeleteDo we humble readers get a chance to read said research paper on why Gothic is no place for girls?!?!
ReplyDeleteWell done, Belle! What a lot of work on top of everything else. I've been thinking about you, missing your bright smiles. I hope you thoroughly enjoy your break!
ReplyDeleteYay! I was starting to worry! I'm looking forward to your 11 days off.
