TOP TEN SEQUELS I'M DYING TO READ

Brought to us by The Broke and The Bookish

I would think this will be easy to answer but I only have 8 minutes in which to complete and link and then all heck will break loose as the two middle-schoolers (who have been staying up until 3:30 a.m. most nights and getting up at noon or beyond) will need to arise at 5:30 a.m. to start their first day of school!

1.   Pirate King: A novel of suspense featuring Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes (Russell & Holmes, Book 11)

2.  I Am Half-Sick of Shadows: A Flavia de Luce Novel

3.  Explosive Eighteen: A Stephanie Plum Novel

4.  Northwest Angle: A Novel

5.  V is for Vengeance (Kinsey Millhone Mystery)

6.  Miss Julia Rocks the Cradle

7.   Cold Flat Junction (Emma Graham Mysteries)

8.  A River in the Sky: An Amelia Peabody Novel of Suspense

9.  A Lesson in Secrets: A Maisie Dobbs Novel

10.  Not quite 10 as I must walk now down that long, dark hallway to wake the first morning monster and somehow coax him into the shower.  Here starts our new school year.

  1. Hope the monsters awoke quietly and well!

Have you tried the 'Bubbles' series by Sarah Strohmeyer? I liked these better than Janet Evanovich.

I couldn't really think of any, as I haven't read a series in quite some time!

    Here's my weak answer!

  2. I've actually been wanting to read those Jacqueline Winspear books. They look like interesting period books. I love period books. And I just got into the Stephanie Plum series a few months ago. I should be reading book to in the coming weeks.

PS, Hope you got the kids up and off to school without too much hassle!

  3. I can't wait for Sue Grafton's V! I won A Lesson in Secrets from GoodReads. It was the first one in the series that I read, and I enjoyed it.

  4. Can you read those Miss Julia books out of order? I picked one up at a library sale and never read it because I was wondering if I'd miss anything starting in the middle of the series.

  5. Heidi - You should start at the beginning. But you'll love them - I just know it!
