BOUT OF BOOKS READ-A-THON



Quick Notes

• If you haven’t signed up yet, do it now!   This link will bring you to the sign up form.
• You must be signed up in order to enter any of the TEN super awesome giveaways.
• The sign up form for the read-a-thon will be open through Saturday 8/27.
• Find a list of everyone signed up to participate on my Bout of Books Master List page.  Please say hi to your fellow readathoners!  You may make new blogging friends.
• I’ve got a list on Twitter of everyone who indicated they’d be updating on Twitter.  It includes everyone but me because apparently I can’t add myself to my own list.  I’d suggest using it for finding other Bout of Books Readathoners rather than staying updated on their progress.
• If you do want to track everyone’s progress run a search for #boutofbooks (or click my link).  Just don’t forget to use #boutofbooks yourself!  It will be easier to keep track of everyone and cheer them on this way.

Another crazy, impulsive act on the part of BookBelle.  I have signed up for the Bout of Books Read-A-Thon!  This is probably the strangest week for me to participate considering this week is the busiest work week I will have, Mr.BookBelle is working one of his last day shift weeks (giving us our nights together) and I have to start prepping for my college classes again.  So, if you think you shouldn't, just think again!  If I can, so can you.  There isn't really any pressure with this Read-A-Thon.  I will just keep track of pages read over the course of the week.  I will quite likely be left in the dust on the very first day.  I am okay with that.  ;-)

I look forward to saying hi to everyone participating and making some new blogger friends. 

I am committed to turning off the t.v. and reading.  With the exception of Big Brother that I watch with my son, I will tape everything else and watch it next week.  This should help a little with my page count.  Giuliana and Bill, The Duggars, Dr. Drew, Sister Wives, The living on less family and all those house hunters will have to wait for me until next week.  Do you think they will miss me?
