"If you find a book you love, do you hunt down other books by the same author?"
Exhaustively so. When I find a book that I love, it is usually because I love the way the words are written. If I love the writing style, I will hunt down every book by the same author.

Yes, when I find a book I love by a new to me author, I always try to get a few more by them.
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way. I think everyone is! I stalk down the author and add all of their books to my TBR list.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Hop & Follow Friday!
I'm thinking we all answered yes to this week's hop question!
ReplyDeleteNew follower here. Stop by and visit me if you have time @ A Chick Who Reads
I am another "yes" for the Hop - I'm not often disappointed by doing this either!
ReplyDeleteI don't really do that when it comes to authors, with some exceptions of course. I've been disappointed way too many times.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, I found you via the hop and I am now a follower!
I'm also having a big contest on my blog at the moment, so feel free to check it out!
Have a great weekend!

Rather than purchase the entire back list of a new favorite author, I try to get them through the library. Come see which author I'm reading through right now.
ReplyDeleteYes but mostly I just keep my eyes pealed for that author. And whenever I'm at a book shop I look for her. Example: Sarah Addison Allen.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. Sometimes I think we are the same. There's just no other explanation.
ReplyDeleteStopping by from the blog hop. Most folks have the same answer that they do look for other books by an author...it sure is neat to get ideas for new authors.
ReplyDeleteLove your word "exhaustively." :)
Stop by my blog if you like to see my answer and for a book giveaway.
Giving away: Dance Lessons by Aine Greaney.
